Welcome to the School Council's section on the web-site. The aim of the school council is to help make the school a better place for the children and to give us an opportunity to have our opinions and ideas heard. Each class from Year 3 upwards has two representatives, a boy and a girl, who are elected by their class-mates. At the first meeting of the year, the important jobs of Chairperson, Vice Chair and Secretary are voted on by the council. . One of the Year 5 teachers, Mrs Pearson, helps us conduct our meetings which are held in the library every two weeks. The class representatives tell the children in their classes what has been discussed at the meeting and the children can ask their reps to take forward their ideas to the next meeting. Everybody gets a fair say in the meeting and nobody is left out.
