Updates from Year 6 Camp 2025

Day 4

As thoughts turn to home children and staff completed the last of the planned activities. At teatime, we took a moment to reflect on all the challenges we have faced during the week, all the kindness that we shared and the excellence we have achieved.

Birthday cake was served with curry! We will all leave having deepened our friendships and filled our hearts with some golden memories of our time together.

Day 3

Another glorious day of sunshine in the forest. Children continued to enjoy rotating through the activities, there isn't a better location to shelter in the shade during a heatwave. Stunning views, great company, amazing food, many happy memories being made.

Mr Marriott has swapped with Mrs Maxwell in the evening, 2 more days to go!

Day 2

A day of glorious sunshine in the forest. Our six groups continued to rotate through the camp week activities; canoeing and the river study provided the children with a great opportunity to cool off in the crystal forest waters.

Children were joined by a special visitor (Mr Riordan!) who climbed the tower and took the leap of faith. Mr Riordan was very impressed with how encouraging the children were with each other and how much fun they were having. They are being very well looked after by our school staff and the camp experts.

Day 1

After leaving school, our intrepid adventurers had a fantastic first day in the forest. Many happy memories made, a great evening had and a great night of sleep in preparation for day 2.

Mr Riordan is visiting on Tuesday and has been asked to bring a coffee machine for the staff .......sounds like camp is living up to the hype.
