Thank you to the parents & carers, governors and members of staff who were able to join us at the final service of the year to celebrate the achievements of the Year 6 pupils. It is hard to believe that their 7 year journey has come to an end, but it was lovely to hear their memories and highlights. Seeing the photos from the archives was another highlight...I definitely got my own back after the drenching I endured last week!
As the pupils enjoy their summer break and prepare to embark on their next educational journey, I just want to say that we are really proud of all they have achieved - both academically and socially. They leave us as confident, happy, motivated and polite pupils who have demonstrated all the 'Secrets of Success' that will support them as they move forwards in life.
We will miss them, but it is time to move on! 60 wonderful pupils...we are proud of you all and wish you every success for the future.
The Y6 pupils had a great amount of fun at the disco! It was certainly hot and sweaty...but the children really enjoyed themselves!
So some crazy person decided to invite the pupils to bring a change of clothes and water pistols to school to enjoy a water fight....can you spot who the person was?!?!?!?!?
Following the bowling trip, pupils were delighted to enjoy a scrummy BBQ lunch courtesy of Mrs Hallett, Mrs Whitwham and Mrs Wyatt and the GVSA. Many thanks also to Mrs Faithfull and Mrs King who were on hand to help with serving and tidying up afterwards!
As a special end of term treat, the Y6 pupils were taken to Hollywood Bowl to play a game of bowling! They had great fun and behaved brilliantly. I'm sure you can see from the children's faces how much they enjoyed themselves.
Pupils in Year 6 put on an amazing performance of 'Robin Hood' this week after only three and a bit weeks of rehearsing. Lines were executed with precision; songs were sung with enthusiasm and harmony; scenes were set smoothly...all in all, a fantastic production!
Please enjoy this selection of photos taken during and after a dress rehearsal!
