Year 5 and 6 were lucky to have a visit from award-winning author Cathy Faulkner. She read from her first book, gave them insights into becoming an author and definitely inspired them to read her books by hinting at the mysteries that the characters have to solve. Reading and reading for pleasure are at the heart of our curriculum.
